On Hiatus
As has happened in each season of this blog's existence, I've hit a little bit of a writer's block, or better put a "inspired to write about major league baseball" block.
I'm not ready to close shop quite yet. In fact, the cycle of the writer dictates that ideas come and go, from moment to moment, day to day, week to week. Inspiration and motivation comes in waves, and then subsides for awhile. At least that's been my experience to this point.
However, I am conceding that I'm dimming the lights here for awhile. Maybe something will spark an essay, a quip or a rambling thought by the time this weekend rolls around. Or, maybe this is the beginning of the end of this thing. One never knows.
There is a tremendous amount of good work being done on the Internet by good writers and good baseball fans. I hope you've found a daily site or two to visit, or a writer to follow regularly. It definitely adds to the experience.
I might be back around here soon, so don't feel it's a total waste of time to check back every week or so.
